Kintsugi Trinket Dish
Kintsugi is the ancient Japanese art of fixing broken pottery. The technique employs a special tree sap lacquer dusted with powdered gold. The beautiful seams of gold glint in the cracks of broken pot, giving a one-of-a-kind appearance to each “repaired” piece.
Kintsugi makes the repaired piece even more beautiful and valuable than the original by emphasizing its fractures and breaks instead of hiding them.
Our faux Kintsugi Trinket Dishes recreate the spirit and beauty of this centuries-old tradition on unbroken stoneware plates to create a unique resting place for your rings, spare change and car keys.
Each dish is unique. Please allow us to choose for you. Approx 6" diameter
