• Image of Wood Fired Cylindrical Lamp

This lamp was wheel thrown, then wood fired in an outdoor kiln for three days. Tucked away in a cool corner of the kiln, the clay was protected from the swirling ash that created the dramatic effects of the other wood-fired lamp in this year's collection. The effect is a muted "smudge pot" appearance with just the faintest hints of wadding marks. This understated lamp works especially well in modern/minimalist settings where it adds a warm, earthy accent. Antiqued brass fittings. Cloth covered cord with inline switch.
