Our Story

Welcome to fdp studio+shop! fdpottery is made on site in our newly restored, historic building forty minutes east of Pittsburgh, PA. My husand, Francis DeFabo, creates small-batch ceramics while basking in the pottery studio’s view of rolling hills and neighborly goats. I source artisan home goods — like handmade candles, tableware and charcuterie boards — that compliment the craftsmanship of the pottery.

We’ve had a blast stepping away from conventional careers to create fdp studio+shop and aim to delight you with unexpected pleasures.
